The transmission is the biggest ticking time bomb. Ours died out of nowhere at 92k miles.
😐 NEUTRAL
It's an 11-12 year old car...maintenance is everything.
😐 NEUTRAL
They’re decent. Like any vehicle how it’s been maintained has a lot to do with reliably.
👎 NEGATIVE
It's a very bad idea. Transmission and engine are well known to shit the bed. The 2.5L engine is decent, but the transmission is still shit. Can you tell if both the transmission and engine have been replaced already?
👍 POSITIVE
I have a 15 and it's been ride or die. Cars are cars and its literal ymmv but I'm a Ford guy.
😐 NEUTRAL
Buy it. If you think there's mixed reviews, then who are we to tell you any different.
👍 POSITIVE
What size motor 1.5,2.0,or 2.5L if it’s got the 2.5L then heck yeah it’s bullet proof..
👎 NEGATIVE
An old flat mate had one he could get 35mpg at absolute best driving round town , 46mpg at best on the motorway cruising at an indicated 70mph. Oh and about 4000mpg of oil consumption from the engine The prince engine is famed for oil consumption. Reliability wise he had the fuel pump replacement but other than that never had any issues from whatI can remember until it started burning like a li
👎 NEGATIVE
This will be pre face-lift and the fuel pump usually dies by about 40k miles and is a costly replacement. Check to see if its been done already. I never had any other problems with mine until I sold it at 70k.  MPG wise I'd get about 45mpg average with normal driving.
👎 NEGATIVE
If you must buy one get a facelift Peugeot fixed some major issues with the facelift but I wouldn't buy one I had a facelift car for a number of years I'm not typing it all out again but I had suspension problems brake problems rust problems engine problems electrical problems it was a unreliable car which is a shame as they are a good looking car with lovely handling Mpg I got about 35mpg jus
