Overall Rating
Bentley Arnage:
The Bentley Arnage is a full-size luxury car manufactured by Bentley Motors in Crewe, England, from 1998 to 2009. The Arnage and its Rolls-Royce-branded sibling, the Silver Seraph, were introduced in the spring of 1998. They were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980.

R Overview:
Bentley Arnage (R). With 835 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. At around 2655 kg, it’s on the heavier side. Rear‑wheel drive offers dynamic handling and sporty feedback. Acceleration is good (0–100 km/h in 7 s). The top speed reaches 250 km/h. A four-door car with a separate trunk, ideal for families and daily commuting. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
The Bentley Arnage R generation was not officially tested by Euro NCAP. As a high-volume luxury vehicle, independent crash test data is scarce, but it featured robust construction and standard safety systems like ABS for its time.
6.7 i V8 16V RL (405 Hp) Verdict:
Performance Verdict
While sharing the same potent V8, the RL trim's increased length and weight result in slightly reduced acceleration. Performance remains strong for a luxury limousine, prioritizing smooth power delivery over outright speed.
Fuel Economy
Given the likely increased weight of the RL model, fuel economy is expected to be similar to or slightly worse than the standard R, remaining a significant running cost.
