The Cadillac CTS is a luxury car, manufactured and marketed by General Motors from 2003 until 2019 across three generations.
Initially available as a 4-door sedan using the GM Sigma platform, GM offered the second generation CTS in 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, and 5-door sport wagon, and the third generation as a sedan, using a stretched version of the GM Alpha platform. I Overview:
Cadillac CTS (I). With 262 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. With a weight of 1705 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. Rear‑wheel drive offers dynamic handling and sporty feedback. Acceleration is good (0–100 km/h in 8.2 s). The top speed reaches 226 km/h. A four-door car with a separate trunk, ideal for families and daily commuting. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
The Cadillac CTS I was not tested by Euro NCAP. However, it performed reasonably well in contemporary US safety tests (NHTSA, IIHS) for its era, offering a solid safety package for its market.
