3.8 V6 (218 Hp) AWD Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Provides a noticeable boost in power over the 3.3L, making highway merges and passing easier. AWD adds weight, slightly impacting acceleration.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is lower than the FWD variants due to increased power and the AWD system's parasitic losses. Expect higher running costs.

Best Use Case: Families in snowy or wet climates needing extra traction, or those who frequently tow light loads, with a slight compromise on fuel efficiency.

Cons:

  • • Fuel economy is not competitive by modern standards
  • • Handling can feel ponderous and unengaging
