Dadi Shuttle:

Dadi Auto was a pickup truck and heavy-duty truck manufacturing company headquartered in Baoding, China. Formerly a military automobile maker, Baoding Dadi assembled their first civil pickup in 1988. This lack of independent safety assessment raises concerns regarding its crashworthiness and occupant protection compared to contemporary models from established brands.

2.3 (130 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers modest performance for its size and weight, suitable for basic utility and light off-roading rather than spirited driving. The 130 Hp engine struggles to provide brisk acceleration.

Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption is notably high at 12 l/100 km combined, making it an expensive vehicle to run given its power output and the era's standards.

Best Use Case: Utility, light off-road adventures, and budget-conscious buyers prioritizing space and 4x4 capability over performance and fuel efficiency.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Affordable purchase price (new)
  • • Decent off-road capability with 4x4 drive
  • • Spacious interior for passengers and cargo
  • • Robust, utilitarian design

Cons:

  • • High fuel consumption for its power output
  • • Modest and unrefined engine performance
  • • Lack of official safety ratings (Euro NCAP)
  • • Basic interior quality and features
  • • Potential long-term reliability concerns
