Performance Verdict
Offers modest performance for its size and weight, suitable for basic utility and light off-roading rather than spirited driving. The 130 Hp engine struggles to provide brisk acceleration.
Fuel Economy
Fuel consumption is notably high at 12 l/100 km combined, making it an expensive vehicle to run given its power output and the era's standards.
Best Use Case:
Utility, light off-road adventures, and budget-conscious buyers prioritizing space and 4x4 capability over performance and fuel efficiency.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- • Affordable purchase price (new)
- • Decent off-road capability with 4x4 drive
- • Spacious interior for passengers and cargo
- • Robust, utilitarian design
Cons:
- • High fuel consumption for its power output
- • Modest and unrefined engine performance
- • Lack of official safety ratings (Euro NCAP)
- • Basic interior quality and features
- • Potential long-term reliability concerns
