Daihatsu Sigra:
The Daihatsu Sigra is a mini MPV with standard three-row seating designed by Daihatsu and manufactured by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Indonesia since July 2016 to be sold exclusively in the country. Developed by Daihatsu chief engineer Nobuhiko Ono, it is built on lengthened Ayla's platform and positioned below the Xenia as a more affordable MPV option for the Indonesian market, where three-row MPVs have high demand in the country. It is also rebadged and sold by Toyota as the Toyota Calya with a differentiated front fascia. Sigra Overview:
Daihatsu Sigra (Sigra). With 108 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. Weighing only 965 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. A multi-purpose vehicle designed to transport passengers with ample interior space. With seating for 7, it’s perfect for larger families.
The Daihatsu Sigra was not tested by Euro NCAP. However, it achieved a 4-star rating for Adult Occupant Protection in ASEAN NCAP, indicating a reasonable level of safety for its segment and target market.

Performance Verdict
The 1.2L engine offers a noticeable improvement in power, making it more capable for mixed city and occasional highway driving. It handles a full load better than the 1.0L.
Fuel Economy
Still very fuel-efficient, though slightly less so than the 1.0L. It strikes a good balance between power and economy for an MPV of its size.
