2.0 (160 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 3 stars

Performance Verdict

The naturally aspirated 2.0L 'Tigershark' engine provides adequate power for daily commuting but can feel underpowered when fully loaded or during aggressive highway maneuvers. Acceleration is modest.

Fuel Economy

With a combined fuel consumption of 8.1 l/100 km, its economy is acceptable for a base engine in its class, though not class-leading. Manual transmission helps maximize efficiency.

Best Use Case: City / Suburban Commuting

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Stylish and distinctive exterior design
  • • Comfortable ride quality for its class
  • • Spacious and well-appointed interior (especially higher trims)
  • • Available Uconnect infotainment system was user-friendly

Cons:

  • • Base 2.0L engine can feel underpowered
  • • Mixed reliability reports, particularly for 1.4L MultiAir and DDCT
  • • Some interior materials felt cheap on lower trims
  • • Limited rear visibility due to design
  • • Automatic transmissions could be slow to respond
