VII Cabrio Overview:
Ford Escort (VII Cabrio). With 134 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. Weighing only 1165 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 12.7 s). The top speed reaches 173 km/h. A convertible car with a retractable roof, offering open-air driving experiences. Performance Verdict
Delivers a rather sedate performance with 12.7 seconds to 100 km/h, requiring higher revs to extract its 90 hp. Best for unhurried driving.
Fuel Economy
At 7.9 l/100 km, its fuel economy is acceptable for a petrol engine of its era but significantly less efficient than the diesel option.
