Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

The classic Coyote V8 delivers robust power and a satisfying exhaust note, offering strong acceleration and excellent capability for heavy towing and demanding off-road conditions.

Fuel Economy

Expectedly higher fuel consumption for a V8 4x4 (12.4 l/100 km combined), but competitive within its class, especially given its power output and capability.

Best Use Case: Heavy-duty towing, serious off-roading, and for drivers who prefer traditional V8 power and sound with all-wheel drive assurance.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Diverse and powerful engine lineup, including efficient EcoBoost and robust V8 options.
  • • Exceptional towing and hauling capabilities across various configurations.
  • • Spacious and comfortable SuperCab interior with modern technology and connectivity.
  • • Strong resale value and widespread dealer network for parts and service.
  • • Advanced safety and driver-assist features available, enhancing security and convenience.

Cons:

  • • Fuel economy can be a concern with larger V8s, especially in 4x4 models.
  • • Large physical size can make urban maneuvering and parking challenging.
  • • Ride quality, while good for a truck, is still truck-like compared to car-based SUVs.
  • • Higher trim levels and optional packages can significantly increase the purchase price.
