2.4 (125 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 2 stars

Performance Verdict

Performance is severely limited by the heavy kerb weight (2505 kg) combined with only 125 Hp. Acceleration will be sluggish, especially with a full load, making highway overtaking challenging.

Fuel Economy

Given the vehicle's substantial weight and the relatively modest power output of the 2.4L petrol engine, fuel economy is expected to be poor, particularly in urban driving or under load.

Best Use Case: Light urban commuting / Rural roads (unloaded)

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious interior and large trunk capacity (1060 l)
  • • Potential for low purchase price
  • • Basic off-road capability with 4x4 option
  • • Robust body-on-frame construction (common for such SUVs)

Cons:

  • • Severely underpowered 2.4L engine for its heavy kerb weight
  • • Poor fuel economy expected
  • • Outdated Euro 4 emission standard for 2014
  • • Basic safety features (ABS only)
  • • Uncertain long-term reliability and parts availability
  • • Lack of modern comfort and tech features
