My mother had an 1986 version. I learnt how to drive in it. It broke down 4 months after I started driving it. My parents blamed me. Dude. The cars 20 years old and they blamed me. It would overheat up hill and randomly switch off at high speeds. I would be gilding down the freeway into the emergency lane.

I bought the swift version of this as my first car over 20 years ago for $800. It survived so much abuse, the whole inside of it filled with water from a leaking window seal at some point. Never left me stranded though. What a fuckin tin can. I put a random air filter on it and a hotdog exhaust and it was the funniest thing ever.
I saw one at the last track day I went to but it had a swift GTi e
