1.6L Turbo (190 Hp) Automatic Verdict:
Performance Verdict
Provides a significant boost in power with 190 Hp, promising more engaging acceleration and confident highway merging. The automatic transmission should offer a more direct feel than the IVT.
Fuel Economy
Fuel economy data is not yet available, but given it's a turbocharged engine, it's expected to offer a good balance of power and efficiency, likely slightly less economical than the 2.0L in urban settings but potentially competitive on highways.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- • Modern and distinctive exterior design
- • Choice of efficient naturally aspirated or potent turbocharged engine
- • Good fuel economy for the 2.0L IVT variant
- • Spacious interior for a compact sedan (413L trunk, generous dimensions)
- • Advanced safety and driver-assist systems (implied by SULEV 30 and ABS)
Cons:
- • Rear torsion beam suspension may offer less refined ride than multi-link setups
- • IVT transmission might not appeal to all drivers seeking a more engaging feel
- • Specific fuel economy for the 1.6L Turbo is not yet available
- • No Euro NCAP safety rating available yet due to newness
