2.2 D (63 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 2 stars

Performance Verdict

Severely underpowered with only 63 Hp, resulting in very slow acceleration (18.4 sec 0-100 km/h) and limited capability for highway speeds or steep inclines. Primarily for utility.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy data is not provided, but as a low-power diesel, it's expected to be reasonable. However, the need to constantly push the engine might negate some efficiency gains.

Best Use Case: Purely utilitarian purposes, very light-duty tasks, or slow-paced rural driving where maximum speed and acceleration are irrelevant.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Genuine off-road capability due to body-on-frame construction and 4x4 system.
  • • Excellent value for money as a used vehicle.
  • • Relatively spacious interior for its class.
  • • Simple, robust mechanics make it easier to maintain.
  • • Distinctive, rugged styling.

Cons:

  • • Generally poor on-road performance, especially with diesel engines.
  • • High fuel consumption for petrol variants.
  • • Dated interior design and materials.
  • • Limited modern safety features.
  • • Prone to rust, particularly on the chassis and bodywork.
