Land Rover Defender:
The Land Rover Defender is a series of British off-road cars and pickup trucks. They have four-wheel drive, and were developed in the 1980s from the Land Rover series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948. Following the 1989 introduction of the Land Rover Discovery, "Land Rover" became the name of a broader marque, no longer the name of a specific model; thus, in 1990, Land Rover renamed them Defender 90, Defender 110 and Defender 130 respectively....(Read more on Wikipedia)
110 Overview:
Land Rover Defender (110). With 300 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. At around 2055 kg, it’s on the heavier side. All‑wheel drive provides excellent grip, ideal for off‑road use. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 18.8 s). The top speed reaches 130 km/h. A rugged vehicle built to handle rough terrains and challenging driving conditions. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.

Performance Verdict
The TD5 engine, while excellent and more refined than earlier diesels, was introduced in later Defender models (post-1998) and is anachronistic for the 1985-1990 generation. If fitted, it offers strong, smooth power and good torque.
Fuel Economy
For its power, the TD5 offers good fuel economy, significantly better than the V8s and a noticeable improvement over earlier diesels. However, it's not original to this specific generation.
