4.0 V8 (765 Hp) SSG Verdict:

Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

The M840T 4.0L twin-turbo V8 delivers breathtaking acceleration and immense power, making it one of the most potent roadsters available. Its responsiveness and high-revving nature are truly exhilarating, pushing 0-100km/h in just 2.8 seconds.

Fuel Economy

As expected for a supercar of this caliber, fuel economy is secondary to performance. The combined 14.7 l/100 km (NEDC) or 12.3 l/100 km (WLTP) is typical for its extreme power output, reflecting its track-focused design.

Best Use Case: Track days, spirited weekend drives, high-performance touring.

👍 POSITIVE
This is from the first episode of the new ~~season~~ series, which aired for the first time on 14 Nov 2021.Vettel really got into it! Chris Harris was only 1 second slower than Lando in the McLaren, who lapped Silverstone in 2:17. The segment can be viewed here: [part 1](https://streamable.com/1h5c3m) [part2](https://streamable.com/lpntgc). Edit: Top Gear runs in series, not in seasons.
👍 POSITIVE
Chris Harris was absolutely FLYING in that McLaren
😐 NEUTRAL
I'm surprised this was kept under wraps and not posted before when the race was on at Silverstone. Or maybe I just missed the post. (I know it's from the 1st episode of the new season of Top Gear)
👍 POSITIVE
its nice to see vettel back on top gear. i'd love to see him presenting a car show after he leaves f1, but i think he'd be bored of the slow cars really quickly.
👍 POSITIVE
I know Lando drove that 765LT for the first time, but it's still impressive how close Chris got to him in that one lap time. Always nice to see a performance car reviewer who actually drives said cars well.
👍 POSITIVE
Chris Harris is great, but the other two not so much. Would be great to have Seb hosting top gear once he retires. He is funnier than all of them anyway.
👍 POSITIVE
Was surprised this wasn't shared sooner. Was good, though it was a shame there wasn't more chat between the hosts and drivers. Hopefully they'll get Seb back on again. His segment years ago was brilliant.
