AMG SLK 55 Black Series V8 (400 Hp) 7G-TRONIC Verdict:

Rating 5 stars

Performance Verdict

This naturally aspirated 5.4L V8 delivers exhilarating performance, with 400 Hp and 520 Nm of torque providing brutal acceleration (0-100km/h in 4.5s) and a top speed of 280 km/h. The 7G-TRONIC gearbox ensures rapid shifts, making it a true driver's car.

Fuel Economy

As expected for a high-performance AMG V8, fuel economy is not a strong suit. A combined consumption of 12.2 l/100 km (18.1 l/100 km urban) means frequent stops at the pump, but it's a trade-off for the immense power.

Best Use Case: Track days, spirited weekend drives, and collectors seeking a rare, high-performance compact coupe with a visceral V8 experience.
