Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers smooth and adequate power for daily driving and comfortable cruising, with the 4x4 system providing excellent all-weather traction. Not a performance powerhouse, but competent.

Fuel Economy

Moderate fuel consumption for a V6 with AWD, typical for its era. Direct injection (Neo Di) helps efficiency but it's still a thirsty engine by modern standards.

Best Use Case: Mixed driving, all-weather commuting, family transport.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Powerful and smooth V6 engine options, including a potent turbo
  • • Spacious and comfortable interior with good cargo capacity
  • • Available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) for enhanced traction
  • • Refined ride quality, excellent for long journeys
  • • Unique and distinctive styling for a station wagon

Cons:

  • • High fuel consumption across the engine lineup
  • • As a JDM import, parts and specialized servicing can be challenging outside Japan
  • • Direct injection (Neo Di) engines may be prone to carbon buildup issues
  • • Not officially sold in many international markets, limiting availability
  • • Interior plastics can feel dated compared to European rivals
