There’s some good options hiding amongst all the mediocrity. For me it’s between the Impala, the Camaro and (if in SSEi trim) the Bonneville

This is, quite possibly, the most regular car I have ever seen. Great pick /u/regularcars

Ahh, the N-body. Might be the most middle of the road cars made in the last 30 years. * Looks? Kinda boring, but not necessarily ugly or good looking (depending how you feel about the Grand Am ribs) * Performance? A bit below others by the mid-00's, but the V6 wasn't slow either * Reliability? Not great, not terrible. Once you fixed the head gasket problem from the early years the engine/trans

When I was in high school (early 2010s) most of the girls drove either a Malibu, Grand am or Aleros. Me and my friend came to realize this and came up with our own slogan. The Pontiac Grand Am l, chariot to the basic bitch. In college I started dating my current girlfriend. she had a Grand am with 200k+ and it died after barely a year of us together. Then she got her mother's old car. An Alero.

I always thought in this era GM drew an Oldsmobile first and then added cladding and cheesegrater alloys to make it a Pontiac or chrome and whitewalls for a Buick.
