You have to expect any vintage low mileage car will never be gas and go and will be a bit of a lifestyle updating its mechanical systems. Me, id daily it, but anything over 15 years old i change all the belts, fluids, and probably new tires and battery. If you can do this fine, but it’s probably not worth it on this car to pay to have these services done, cool as it is. If you can do them yourself

Well that first photo is a stock photo of a 1996 model, so if they’re using that in the listing I’d consider that a bit of a red flag. But it can be done. When you find a old car with significantly low mileage/ rarely used you have to be wary about the many things that wear out due to lack of use ( hoses, belts, wires seals & tires). No. Doesn't really matter that it's low miles. All the seals, mechanical parts, tires, hoses, belts, etc. are more than 30 years old. Get ready to replace many of them in the first year.

The car will definitely handle the miles if you keep the maintenance up. The low miles are an indicator it's coming up on all manner of mileage milestone maintenance from front end to transaxle. Have a mechanic you trust check it from front to back and give you a breakdown of what will need replacing and when.

I had an '82 or '83 olds Ciera. Got it in 1996 and it died within a year. It had super low miles and had been garage kept. Maintained by a literal retired Air Force guy. Those cars aren't meant for use. They were junk when new and as a vintage car will be expensive junk to maintain.

The 3300 in this car is basically a de-stroked, de-bored, lower deck version of the 3800 V6 folks get a hard-on for. It was manufactured from 1989 to 1993. These A-body cars were unspectacular, but mechanically straight-forward. That said, it’s a 37 year old grocery getter.
