You’ve done a ton of research already, I don’t think you should worry too much. Personally I’d go for the Opel Insignia or Kia, or the Mondeo. My experience with Peugeot is that they have notoriously bad quality control and some engines that are just proper bad. You really need to know what to look out for when buying Peugeot. You should decide whether you want a diesel or petrol. Look up the yearly tax rate, it can differ greatly between a big 4x4 diesel and a smaller petrol engine. With your budget you ought to be able to get a bitchin Insignia tho.
