3.6 V6 (300 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers adequate 300 Hp V6 performance for daily driving, though it's the slowest accelerating variant among the V6s, likely due to a less performance-oriented transmission.

Fuel Economy

Less efficient than the PDK V6 models, resulting in higher fuel consumption. It's the least economical V6 option.

Best Use Case: Entry-level luxury and daily commuting for those prioritizing the Porsche badge and comfort over outright performance or efficiency.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Exceptional driving dynamics and handling for a large sedan.
  • • Luxurious and high-quality interior with excellent build materials.
  • • Wide range of powerful and efficient engine options, including a hybrid.
  • • Practical liftback design offers more cargo space than traditional sedans.
  • • Iconic Porsche styling and brand prestige.

Cons:

  • • Polarizing exterior design, especially the rear, which some find awkward.
  • • High purchase price and expensive maintenance/parts costs.
  • • Rear seating is strictly for two, limiting passenger capacity.
  • • Fuel economy can be poor on V8 models without hybrid assistance.
  • • Complex infotainment system for its time.
