2.0 16V (143 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Provides comfortable and smooth power delivery with 143 Hp, but the automatic transmission impacts acceleration, making it less sprightly than manual variants. Good for relaxed driving.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is moderate, similar to other 2.0L automatic options. It's a trade-off for the convenience of an automatic gearbox.

Best Use Case: Urban and suburban driving, for those who prefer the ease of an automatic transmission and don't require maximum acceleration.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Versatile cargo bed combined with SUV comfort
  • • Robust and proven engine options (especially 2.0L F4R)
  • • Good ground clearance and off-road capability for its class
  • • Spacious interior for a compact pickup
  • • Competitive pricing and strong value proposition

Cons:

  • • Interior quality and features can feel basic compared to rivals
  • • Fuel economy, especially with 2.0L automatic and ethanol, can be high
  • • Limited advanced safety features
  • • Ride quality can be firm when unladen
  • • Automatic transmission options are older 4-speed units
