Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

The 3.6-liter EZ36D Boxer engine delivers smooth and adequate power for daily driving and highway cruising, making the Tribeca feel capable, though not overtly sporty. The 8.9-second 0-100 km/h acceleration is respectable for a family SUV.

Fuel Economy

With a combined fuel consumption of 11.6 l/100 km, the 3.6R is on the thirstier side, especially in urban environments (16.2 l/100 km). This can be a significant running cost for owners.

Best Use Case: Highway cruising, long-distance family travel, light towing, and all-weather driving due to AWD.
