3.6 V6 (276 Hp) 4MOTION Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

The naturally aspirated 3.6 V6 offers strong, linear power delivery, making it excellent for highway cruising, towing, and confident acceleration. It feels robust and well-suited for a larger SUV.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is a notable drawback, with a combined 12.4 l/100 km. This V6 is less efficient than its turbocharged counterpart, especially in urban settings.

Best Use Case: Highway cruising, towing, all-weather driving, and drivers prioritizing traditional V6 power and AWD capability.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Stylish, coupe-like SUV design stands out
  • • Spacious and comfortable 5-seater interior
  • • Choice of capable V6 or efficient turbo-four engines
  • • Available 4MOTION all-wheel drive for enhanced traction
  • • Large cargo capacity (1141-2203 liters)

Cons:

  • • V6 engine can be thirsty, especially with AWD
  • • No hybrid or plug-in hybrid options available
  • • Ride can be firm on larger wheels
  • • Interior materials, while good, aren't luxury-class
  • • Lacks the third-row seating of the standard Atlas
