B5.5 Overview:
Volkswagen Passat (B5.5). With 310 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It has moderate fuel consumption (~8.5 l/100km). With a weight of 1695 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. All‑wheel drive provides excellent grip, ideal for off‑road use. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 10.4 s). The top speed reaches 204 km/h. A four-door car with a separate trunk, ideal for families and daily commuting. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
Combines the strong torque of the 130hp TDI with the added traction of 4MOTION, providing confident grip in all conditions, though acceleration is slightly reduced.
Fuel Economy
Good fuel economy for an AWD diesel, but the 4MOTION system increases consumption compared to 2WD versions.
Best Use Case:
All-weather / Mixed Driving
