But can it go from berlin to poland in one tank?
👍 POSITIVE
I like driving above 70kmh without fearing for my life👍
👎 NEGATIVE
Good because it's cool as fuck, not so good because 180k for an old performance-oriented VW is playing with fire.
👍 POSITIVE
A friend bought a Megane Trophy R a couple of years ago, after driving it for a few months he tracked it for half a season. He liked it so much he bought an RS as a new daily. It's his most driven car and it's by far not the fanciest, or fastest, or most expensive. I haven't driven either of your mentioned models, but the Scirocco is just a beautiful car.
👍 POSITIVE
Nice looking cars- surprisingly not far more popular- why would you get a golf when this is an option!
👎 NEGATIVE
Used to own a manual, had what I thought was gearbox issues so ended up selling it. Turns out it needed a new clutch. Wasn't that comfortable and it's pretty low but was nice enough to drive.
👍 POSITIVE
I had one and I loved it.  It is mostly golf so heaps of parts. Try and find an unmodified one that has been serviced.
😐 NEUTRAL
Likely a safer bet than a high mileage DSG…but who knows, maybe the manuals have issues too if neglected(or not)
😐 NEUTRAL
future classic coz u rarely see them on the road. However, with such high mileage, you're going to have to put aside a different savings account to ensure the cars running top top.
👍 POSITIVE
Always loved them, good choice
