Will it pass inspection in your region if ABS is maybe broken? If so, beautiful car with a the best engine in the perfect colour for a decent price (where I live this would still be €4-5k)

European car specialist mechanic here. My very first Volvo was a 1998 S70 (sedan version of this) and I've had nothing but Volvos ever since. There's a reason for that. They're habit forming :) That said, this looks like a really nice base model V70, however, that price is a bit high. Try to get it closer to 2,000. These are fairly bulletproof, reliable cars, but like any car, there's some common
😐 NEUTRAL
It looks lovely but it isn't a T5.
😐 NEUTRAL
Not a T5, that’s a naturally aspirated (non turbo) five cylinder. More reliable since there’s less to go wrong but much slower.
👍 POSITIVE
Stick shift no less! Awesome car, very reliable engine if it's been maintained, which most Volvos are given the type of folks who buy them.

188 kmiles is probably on original clutch. Pay attention how gears engage when start moving or changing gears. Bring rubber glove to check if PCV system works well. Simple test: remove oil fill cap, put a a glove over the flange. Start the engine. If glove inflates- no bueno. Check for signs of heater core leaks - top and sides of central tunnel in driver foot well. Coolant level is low and no
