Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

The 181 Hp and 430 Nm of torque are perfectly suited for off-road adventures and heavy towing, providing robust performance in challenging conditions.

Fuel Economy

Given its 4WD capability and weight, the fuel economy is reasonable for its class, though slightly less efficient than the 2WD variant due to added drivetrain components.

Best Use Case: Off-road expeditions, towing, and driving in adverse weather conditions where the Super Select 4WD-II system provides superior traction and control.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Excellent off-road capability (4WD models)
  • • Robust and reliable diesel engine
  • • Spacious 7-seater interior
  • • Strong towing capacity
  • • Good value for money

Cons:

  • • Ride comfort can be firm on rough roads
  • • Interior design feels dated compared to some rivals
  • • Fuel economy, while good for a diesel SUV, isn't class-leading
  • • Steering can feel vague at higher speeds
