The Scion xD is a subcompact hatchback that was marketed in the U. S. and Canada by Japanese manufacturer Toyota beginning with the 2008 model year, as a five-door subcompact hatchback — replacing the xA. The Scion xD and the second generation xB were first shown to the public on February 8, 2007 at the Chicago Auto Show.

I Overview:
Scion xD (I). With 125 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. A compact car with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to the cargo area. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
The Scion xD I was primarily marketed in North America and was not tested by Euro NCAP. Safety ratings from other regions may exist but are not requested here.
