Rating 8 stars

Performance Verdict

Instant torque from the electric motor provides brisk acceleration in city traffic, offering a smooth and responsive driving experience. Highway performance is modest but sufficient.

Fuel Economy

Exceptional running costs due to its electric powertrain, making it very economical for daily commutes and significantly cheaper to 'fuel' than petrol variants.

Best Use Case: Primary vehicle for urban and suburban commuting, ideal for users with home charging.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Strong value-for-money proposition with competitive pricing
  • • Commendable 4-star Global NCAP safety rating (pre-facelift model)
  • • Comfortable ride quality for its segment
  • • Spacious cabin and practical boot space (419L)
  • • Availability of an electric variant (Tigor EV) for eco-conscious buyers

Cons:

  • • Petrol engine (Revotron) can feel unrefined and noisy at higher RPMs
  • • AMT gearbox in the automatic variant can be jerky
  • • Highway performance of the petrol engine is only adequate, not spirited
  • • Interior plastics, while durable, could feel more premium
