Overall Rating
Dacia Sandero:
The Dacia Sandero is a subcompact car/supermini car produced and marketed jointly by the French manufacturer Renault and its Romanian subsidiary Dacia since 2007, currently at its third generation. It has been also marketed as the Renault Sandero in certain markets, such as Russia, Latin America, Iran, Egypt, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Dacia Sandero has been Europe's best selling car several years in a row.
With a slightly shorter wheelbase than the Dacia Logan sedan from which it derives, the Sandero was developed at Renault's Technocentre near Paris, France, in conjunction with the regional engineering centres based in Brazil and Romania. It was revealed for the first time at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, and made its formal market debut in Brazil, as a Renault model, in December 2007, being the first Renault model to debut outside Europe....(Read more on Wikipedia)
II Overview:
Dacia Sandero (II). With 220 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It boasts low fuel consumption (~4.3 l/100km). Weighing only 1033 kg, it’s quite light. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 12.1 s). The top speed reaches 173 km/h. A compact car with a rear door that swings upward to provide access to the cargo area. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
A respectable 4-star rating for a budget car, showing decent protection for adult and child occupants, though safety assist systems were basic compared to segment leaders.
