DeSoto Adventurer:

The DeSoto Adventurer is a full-sized automobile that was produced by DeSoto from 1956 through the 1960 model year. Introduced as a four-seat high-performance sports coupe concept car, the Adventurer ended up being DeSoto's special, limited-production, high-performance model, similar to the more luxurious and exclusive "letter series" Chrysler 300 and Chrysler Saratoga.
Initially offered only as a hardtop coupe, the Adventurer was DeSoto's top-trim level car, replacing the Custom. A convertible was added to the model range in 1957, and a four-door hardtop and sedan in its final year of 1960....(Read more on Wikipedia)

5.9 V8 (265 Hp) TorqueFlite Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Paired with the renowned TorqueFlite automatic transmission, this 5.9L V8 offered smooth and effortless power delivery, making it an excellent choice for comfortable long-distance touring.

Fuel Economy

While offering smoother operation, the TorqueFlite transmission would not significantly improve the inherently low fuel economy of this large displacement V8, remaining a thirsty powertrain.

Best Use Case: Comfortable highway cruising, daily driving (for its era), classic car touring.

👍 POSITIVE
Amazing motorcycle it is, loving it every day. I faced the same thing with the battery, got dead after 2.5 years after not using it due to health reasons. I have clocked 20k kms so far, the stock CEAT tyres were good initially, now I'm losing a bit of confidence, planning to go for reise. The OBD 2 got the slipper clutch and thanks to the engine braking, both the brake pads did and are doing well,
