5.4 V8 (255 Hp) PowerFlite Verdict:

Rating 9 stars

Performance Verdict

This 5.4L V8 delivered impressive power for its era, providing strong acceleration and effortless cruising. Paired with the PowerFlite automatic, it offered smooth, albeit not rapid, shifts.

Fuel Economy

As expected for a large 1950s V8, fuel economy was not a priority. Expect significant fuel consumption, especially in city driving, typical for its class and time.

Best Use Case: Highway cruising / Weekend show car
