6.0 V8 (360 Hp) 4WD SRW Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

A capable petrol V8 paired with 4WD for excellent performance in adverse conditions, while single rear wheels offer improved maneuverability.

Fuel Economy

High fuel consumption, though potentially marginally better than DRW variants due to slightly less weight.

Best Use Case: General heavy-duty work, off-road utility, towing and hauling where the full capacity of DRW is not consistently required.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Exceptional towing and hauling capacity
  • • Powerful engine options (especially Duramax diesel)
  • • Durable and robust build quality for heavy work
  • • Available 4WD and DRW configurations for maximum capability
  • • Spacious Crew Cab for passengers

Cons:

  • • Poor fuel economy, particularly with the petrol V8
  • • Large size can make maneuvering difficult in urban areas
  • • Ride comfort can be stiff when unladen
  • • Interior might feel utilitarian on lower trims
  • • High running costs (fuel, maintenance for heavy-duty components)
