3.5 i V6 24V (247 Hp) Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

The 3.5L V6 provides adequate power for daily driving and light hauling, delivering smooth acceleration characteristic of Honda's J-series engines. It's not built for heavy-duty work but handles typical pickup tasks competently.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy is a significant drawback, with combined figures around 17 l/100 km. Urban driving sees even higher consumption, making it an expensive choice at the pump.

Best Use Case: Suburban utility, light towing, highway cruising, and recreational activities where a comfortable ride is prioritized over rugged off-road capability.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Excellent ride comfort and car-like handling due to unibody construction.
  • • Highly reliable 3.5L V6 engine and drivetrain.
  • • Innovative and versatile bed features, including an in-bed trunk and dual-action tailgate.
  • • Standard all-wheel drive provides confident traction in various conditions.
  • • Spacious and practical interior for a pickup.

Cons:

  • • Poor fuel economy, especially in urban driving.
  • • Limited off-road capability compared to traditional body-on-frame trucks.
  • • Towing capacity is lower than many traditional mid-size pickups.
  • • Exterior styling was polarizing for some buyers.
