Performance Verdict
The V6 engine transforms the Eclipse into a genuinely sporty coupe, offering strong acceleration (0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds) and a much more satisfying power delivery for enthusiasts. It's the pick for performance.
Fuel Economy
As expected, the V6 consumes more fuel than the 2.4L engines, but it's a trade-off many are willing to make for the significant performance boost. Expect higher running costs.
