3.5 V6 (284 Hp) Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers robust acceleration for a large SUV, suitable for highway cruising and merging. The VQ35DD engine is responsive, though the CVT can sometimes dull immediate throttle response.

Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption of 10.2 l/100 km combined is typical for a large naturally aspirated V6 SUV, but not class-leading by modern standards. Expect higher figures in urban driving.

Best Use Case: Family road trips, suburban commuting, light towing.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Powerful and reliable VQ35DD V6 engine
  • • Spacious and comfortable 7-seater interior
  • • Good towing capacity (up to 2722 kg)
  • • Smooth ride quality suitable for long journeys
  • • Available intelligent 4WD system enhances versatility

Cons:

  • • CVT transmission can feel unengaging and lack responsiveness
  • • Fuel economy is average for its class, especially the 4WD variant
  • • Large exterior dimensions can make city parking challenging
  • • No Euro NCAP safety rating available for this specific model
  • • Interior design, while functional, may feel dated compared to some rivals
