2.4 i (133 Hp) 4X4 Automatic Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Adequate power for a minivan of its era, but the 4x4 system and automatic transmission dull acceleration, making it feel less sprightly.

Fuel Economy

Fuel consumption is on the higher side due to the combined weight of the 4x4 drivetrain and the automatic gearbox.

Best Use Case: Rural driving, light off-road excursions, or areas with frequent adverse weather conditions where 4x4 traction is beneficial.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Spacious and versatile interior with flexible seating arrangements
  • • Practical sliding doors for easy access in tight spaces
  • • Available 4x4 drivetrain enhances capability in varied conditions
  • • Generally reliable engines (especially the 2.4L) for its era
  • • Good visibility from the driver's seat

Cons:

  • • Modest performance, particularly with the 2.0L engine and 4x4/automatic combinations
  • • Dated styling and interior design by modern standards
  • • Limited advanced safety features compared to contemporary vehicles
  • • Fuel economy can be high, especially for 4x4 variants
  • • Soft suspension can lead to noticeable body roll
