Toyota Corolla:

The Toyota Corolla is a series of compact cars manufactured and marketed globally by the Japanese automaker Toyota Motor Corporation. Introduced in 1966, the Corolla has been the world's best-selling automobile nameplate of all time since 1997, when it surpassed the Volkswagen Beetle. Toyota reached the milestone of 50 million Corollas sold over twelve generations in 2021.
The name Corolla is part of Toyota's naming tradition of using names derived from the Toyota Crown for sedans, with "corolla" Latin for "small crown". The Corolla has always been exclusive in Japan to Toyota Corolla Store locations, and manufactured in Japan with a twin, called the Toyota Sprinter until 2000. From 2006 to 2018 in Japan and much of the world, and from 2018 to 2020 in Taiwan, the hatchback companion had been called the Toyota Auris....(Read more on Wikipedia)

👍 POSITIVE
It’s a good car but you should cancel both warranties imo.
👎 NEGATIVE
Even though the Corolla has the better reliability, you never know where that car has been. When buying a rental car, you’re playing with some fire. You’re better off buying the Fusion from the dealer, and Fords are probably among the best-made American cars.
👍 POSITIVE
My family and I have bought six ex rental cars over the years from Hertz. Treat it like any other used car but a lot of them are maintained better than personally owned cars. People hesitate with ex rentals but as someone who has bought many of them, it can be a great deal. My car now was bought new but I checked Hertz before I bought last year. I would choose the Corolla. Low miles, Safety Sense
👍 POSITIVE
If I had to bet it would be on the Corolla. But maybe try to find a nicer one, they aren’t exactly rare.
👍 POSITIVE
If you are still looking for a car, you may want to look into a new Corolla. I got a brand new one for $16,500 back in early December of last year. You might want spare an extra 2000, but the variables could have changed. I used Trucar as my "resource".
👍 POSITIVE
They're all about on par with each other. I think that the Mazda will feel maybe half a class above the Civic/Corolla in terms of driving dynamics and interior quality. Get your kid a model with a manual transmission to discourage distracted driving.
