Volvo S80:
The Volvo S80 is an executive car produced by the Swedish manufacturer Volvo Cars from 1998 to 2016 across two generations. It took the place of the rear-wheel-drive S90 as Volvo's flagship sedan.

facelift 2003 Overview:
Volvo S80 (facelift 2003). With 220 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. With a weight of 1562 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 11.4 s). The top speed reaches 200 km/h. A four-door car with a separate trunk, ideal for families and daily commuting. Seating for 5 makes it ideal for daily use.
Performance Verdict
Similar to the LPG variant, performance is significantly reduced on CNG, and the automatic transmission further dulls responsiveness. Strictly for those with access to CNG infrastructure.
Fuel Economy
Extremely low running costs if CNG is readily available and priced competitively, but the initial cost and limited infrastructure are considerations.
Best Use Case:
Niche Cost-Effective / Specific Fleet Use
