Volvo S80:
The Volvo S80 is an executive car produced by the Swedish manufacturer Volvo Cars from 1998 to 2016 across two generations. It took the place of the rear-wheel-drive S90 as Volvo's flagship sedan.
The first generation was made available for the 1999 model year. It has since been built at the Torslanda Works in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a few 1999 model year cars for the North American market built at Volvo's Halifax Assembly plant. Volvo S80 (II (facelift 2009)). With 320 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. It has moderate fuel consumption (~7.6 l/100km). With a weight of 1647 kg, it falls in the mid‑range. Front‑wheel drive delivers efficiency and easy handling. Acceleration is relatively slow (0–100 km/h in 11 s). A four-door car with a separate trunk, ideal for families and daily commuting.
