Performance Verdict
This V6 petrol engine offers higher peak horsepower, providing a more spirited feel at higher RPMs compared to the diesels. It's adequate for general driving and lighter off-road tasks, but lacks the low-end grunt of the V8 diesel.
Fuel Economy
With a combined fuel consumption of 14.4 l/100 km, this petrol V6 is notably less fuel-efficient than its diesel counterparts, especially under heavy loads or off-road conditions.
Best Use Case:
General utility, lighter off-road excursions, and markets where diesel fuel is less available or preferred. Suitable for those prioritizing initial power over torque.
Pros and Cons:
Pros:
- • Unmatched off-road capability and durability
- • Legendary reliability and longevity
- • High towing capacity and payload
