BMW X3 F25 28i (245 Hp) xDrive Steptronic

BMW X3:

The BMW X3 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. BMW markets the car as a Sports Activity Vehicle, the company's proprietary descriptor for its X-line luxury vehicles.
The first-generation X3 was designed by BMW in conjunction with Magna Steyr of Graz, Austria—who also manufactured all X3s under contract to BMW. BMW manufactured the second-generation X3 at their Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, United States. Starting with the third generation, BMW South Africa's Rosslyn plant began production of the X3, alongside the Spartanburg plant, after the facility underwent a major upgrade to prepare for the X3 production, replacing the long-running 3 Series production in the plant. About 76,000 units will be manufactured there annually....(Read more on Wikipedia)

Acura..that generation RDX is pretty fucking solid and the BMW X3 is a bit of a money pit even for a BMW (I would avoid unless you have the money for repairs).

This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** Hi All, Just curious to get some objective opinions here. Looking at a 2020 BMW X3 that has high miles (70,000) but is priced quite aggressively ($28,000). It is not certified. It is not fully loaded or anything, but has the basics that my wife and I want (heated front seats, heated steering wheel). This would be replacing a much older vehicle (2012 Honda Civic). The new car will only be driven around 5,000 miles per year and mainly non-highway driving around town. Terms proposed was $8,000 for the trade-in and we would walk out the door paying $21,502 as the net price after trade in. Wife and I pushed back asking to include a warranty of some sort, even a heavily discounted warranty, and we got shut down immediately. Seems like no real interest in negotiating further from the dealer. From browsing around quite a bit, it is definitely a cheap price for a 2020. Basically any other price point we're looking at would jump up to $35,000. This includes options such as 2019 X3 Certified w/ 40K miles, 2019 X3 non-Certified w/ 20K miles, 2020 Certified w/ 40K miles. I guess long story short, with the low mileage we'd be putting on the vehicle, does this seem like a good buy for us? Or, would the 70K miles be a deal killer for you? We would basically be buying it with zero warranty, but saving about $7K upfront based on anything other options with some level of warranty.
