Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Sharing the same 2.0L engine and Xtronic CVT, the SR trim offers identical power delivery. While the SR trim adds a sportier aesthetic, the underlying performance remains focused on smooth, efficient daily driving rather than outright speed.

Fuel Economy

The SR trim's fuel economy of 7.4 l/100 km combined is consistent with the higher end of the 2.0L engine's range, still providing good efficiency for a compact sedan, albeit slightly less than the most economical base models.

Best Use Case: Daily Driving / Sporty Appearance

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Comfortable and spacious interior for its class
  • • Good fuel economy from the 2.0L engine
  • • Modern exterior styling and updated infotainment
  • • Strong standard safety features (Nissan Safety Shield 360)
  • • Reputable reliability for daily commuting

Cons:

  • • CVT can feel unengaging during spirited driving
  • • Engine performance is adequate but not thrilling
  • • Rear drum brakes on some trims (as per data)
  • • Some interior materials may feel less premium than rivals
  • • Limited engine options for the generation
