The 4.0 V8 (1UZ-FE) engine delivered smooth, refined power, making the Celsior a comfortable and capable highway cruiser. Its 260 Hp was competitive for a luxury sedan of its era, offering effortless acceleration and a serene driving experience.
Fuel Economy
As a large displacement V8 from the late 80s, fuel economy is not a strong suit. Expect moderate to high fuel consumption, especially in city driving conditions, making it less efficient by modern standards.

Highway cruising, long-distance luxury travel, comfortable daily driving for those prioritizing smoothness over fuel efficiency.
