2.0 (155 Hp) CVT-i Verdict:

Rating 4 stars

Performance Verdict

Offers strong performance for a minivan, with the 155 Hp 1AZ-FSE engine providing ample power for highway cruising and overtaking. The CVT-i ensures smooth, albeit sometimes unengaging, power delivery.

Fuel Economy

Achieves a respectable 6.9-7.6 l/100 km, which is efficient for a 2.0L petrol minivan, especially with the CVT-i optimizing fuel use.

Best Use Case: Mixed driving, suitable for both city commutes and longer highway journeys.

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • • Excellent Toyota reliability and low maintenance costs.
  • • Versatile 6-7 seat configuration with practical interior space.
  • • Good fuel economy, especially with the 1.8L FWD and 2.0L CVT-i engines.
  • • Smooth and comfortable ride quality suitable for families.
  • • Facelifted styling provides a refreshed, modern look.

Cons:

  • • CVT-i transmission can feel unengaging to some drivers.
  • • Limited power in the 1.8L 4WD variant, especially when fully loaded.
  • • Not officially tested by Euro NCAP, safety ratings are inferred.
  • • Interior materials, while durable, might lack premium feel compared to some rivals.
  • • Primarily FWD, with 4WD option adding complexity and reducing economy.
