Stay away from that generation T5 (5 cyl), or at least 2010-2013 models. Otherwise, expect piston ring failure. It is the same platform so the engines are the same. I would aim for a T6 or 3.2 (same engine but the T6 is turbo)
👎 NEGATIVE
Do not purchase a 2012 S60. Nearly all of them have faulty engines and it is very hard to reliably tell if the problem has been repaired or not. Some late 2011 And early 2013s have the problem as well- Google '2012 Volvo S60 oil consumption' if you want more info. There should be a way to reference the engine serial number to tell if it is effected by the problem if you are considering a 2011 or a

Love to know what you've "read" about Geely Volvos..../Nice Downvote. Was a serious question. You're driving a.... 2012? Do you know when Geely bought part of Volvo?
👍 POSITIVE
I got a vehicle on this list with 140k miles and all it's needed was oil changes and one battery, one transmission and coolant flush, and one sets of pads in rotors in 12+ years of ownership. As a car guy, I don't trust this list at all without more background as to each issue.

Not sure where you got that 0-100. If it were true you’d be faster than most performance EVs. https://www.media.volvocars.com/global/en-gb/models/xc60/2023/specifications

Thought it was only 455 HP? Or are you counting the generator motor on the engine?

Ok, yeah, you are right about cons, nr2. But let me put it this way. For the 200 times it scared me and stopped the car for nothing, it saved me two times with cross traffic check. Better safe than sorry.
👍 POSITIVE
That’s a great color. Much more interesting than the all black trend
👍 POSITIVE
Cannot agree more on the reverse parking sensors. I have to turn mine off to back into my garage so I’m glad they make that easy and it resets next time you get in the car in case I’m somewhere that I truly do need it.
👎 NEGATIVE
I also have a T8 recharge. For number 2, you can turn that off. I turned it off the first week. Autobraking is really annoying when trying to park in a difficult spot.
