The Ford F-150 Lightning is a battery electric light duty full-size pickup truck unveiled by the Ford Motor Company in May 2021 as part of the fourteenth generation Ford F-Series. Four models have been announced, and all models initially will be dual-motor, four-wheel-drive, with EPA range estimates of 240–320 mi. A commercial-grade version of the all-wheel drive truck is sold in the United States, with higher-power/trim/range models also sold. The F-150 Lightning began production on April 26, 2022. Ford F-Series F-100/F-150 (F-Series F-150 XIV SuperCrew). With 556 Nm of torque, it offers ample pulling power. At around 2251 kg, it’s on the heavier side. Fuel Economy
Expectedly lower fuel economy compared to EcoBoost V6s or the PowerBoost, but competitive for a naturally aspirated V8 in its class. FFV option adds versatility.
